Our story and philosophy
We created The Little Play Company Penistone to solve a familiar challenge: finding a chic, serene space where adults can truly unwind with exceptional coffee and wholesome food while children play freely in a safe, beautifully crafted environment. Guided by a neutral palette, natural wooden toys, and a warm community spirit, we are delighted to welcome your family.
A calm haven built for families
From bento-box picky plates for little appetites to Avoca-style deli lunches, every detail has been thoughtfully chosen to make your visit peaceful, memorable, and delicious.
"Finally, a play cafe where the coffee and food are as good as the play area! The neutral aesthetic is so soothing, and my toddler loved the climbing frame."
Sophie M.
"The crafting trays kept my five-year-old engaged the entire visit while I enjoyed a focaccia sandwich and an iced latte in peace. An absolute gem for Penistone."
Liam K.
"We booked the private party room for our daughter's third birthday. The bento picky plates were a hit, and the team made everything run so smoothly!"
